Pray for B.C.

As we all know, the effect of the heavy rains last weekend has been catastrophic for many areas of B.C. – so we will have a time of focused prayer for each of the impacted areas with a heart to intervene for the many practical issues (roads, pump stations, dykes etc.) as well as the people who have been affected. God is sovereign and powerful, and he hears the prayers of his people. So we will bring our requests to him in the name of Jesus and seek safety, security and comfort for our fellow British Columbians.

This time of prayer will take place at the TriCity Church building (2145 Nova Scotia Ave. PoCo) and is open to everyone, you can also join us online by clicking this link: https://youtu.be/ahhAFxX2RXA

We will also be collecting food for the Abbotsford Food Bank. Here is a list of most needed food items from them:
-Bottled Water
-Canned Vegetables / Legumes
-Canned Meat
-Rice
-Dry Red Lentils, Chickpeas or -Kidney Beans
-Indian Tea
-Cooking oil (Canola/Olive/Avocado)
-Dry Pasta
-Tomatoes/Pasta Sauce
-Cereal
-Beans/Ravioli/Chili
-Dry Soup
-Crackers
-Canned Fruit
-Canned Soup
-Kraft Dinner
-Meal Helpers
-Atta (South Asian Wheat Flour)
-Salt
-Besan (Chickpea Flour)
-White or Brown sugar
-Toilet paper

All the collected items will be delivered to the food bank this week.
