Women’s Bible Studies

In an effort to further equip the women of TriCity Church, we offer Bible Studies throughout the year – typically in Fall, Winter and Spring sessions.

The Word of God is the foundation for all our teaching as we believe the Bible is our sole authority, and according to 2 Tim. 3:16, 17 it is profitable for reproof, correction, and training, equipping us for every good work. Our goal is for all women, single or married, from all seasons of life to be women of the Word! Therefore, we invite all women, Christian or those interested in learning more about what it means to be a Christian to join us!

For our winter bible study we are offering two different options,

1. The “I Am Statements of Jesus” was the topic of the 2024 Gospel Coalition Women’s Conference. The Gospel Coalition has created a 7 week study using the conference material. We will hear from teachers including Jen Wilkin, Melissa Kruger, Courtney Doctor, Nancy Guthrie about statements Jesus made regarding Himself and what we can learn from them. This study includes a workbook with homework questions, video teaching from the Conference and group discussion questions.

2. Eve in Exile is about the influence of the feminist movement and how much we have moved away from how God created us as women and for what purpose. The book gives the history of the feminist movement showing its roots and results. It also further explains Biblical womanhood in light of the creation mandate. This study might challenge some aspects of your view of womanhood.

The study includes a book and a study guide. This study does not come with video teaching.

Wednesday morning, 9:30 – 11:30am – At the church building, includes workbook, video teaching (for the “I Am Statement” study only) in person group discussion, childcare provided.
Cost = $25
Wednesday evening, 7:00 – 9:00 pm – At the church building, includes workbook, video teaching (for the “I Am Statements” Study only), in person group discussion, no childcare.
Cost = $ 25
Both studies are 7 weeks long starting on January 22 and end on March 5. Books will be handed out closer to the start of the study. Please note that there is no zoom option. There is a self study option for the “I Am Statements of Jesus” study.
