FAQ

We know it can be a little daunting to step into a new thing, especially when you’re not exactly sure about the details that matter to you. Here are some answers to frequently asked questions about us to give you a picture of what TriCity Church looks like week to week.

We meet at 2145 Nova Scotia Ave. in Port Coquitlam. You can check us out on Google Maps.

We have three in-person gatherings each Sunday at 8:30, 10:00 & 11:30am

Please note that TriCity Kids is only available during the first two gatherings.

We have a livestream available during the 10:00am gathering.

TriCity aims to be a place where we keep it pretty simple. It’s relaxed and casual, but focused. We don’t think we need to be flashy or put on big productions for people to meet God. We believe that Jesus is enough. We follow a basic pattern of meeting together. We teach from the Bible, and we pray, sing, reflect and respond by taking communion once a month together. The goal through it all is to worship God and know him better by hearing from his Word.

What you’ll encounter when you come to a Sunday gathering is a diverse, biblical community where people seek to know and love God, live in community with others and transform the world by serving our cities as we think Jesus would. Practically speaking, that means that some of us are just checking out Christianity for the first time, while others have been in church their whole lives. We want TriCity Church to be a place where you can learn, apply and wrestle with who God is and what he wants for you. It’s OK if you don’t have it all figured out yet—everyone is welcome.

TriCity Church is about much more than just Sundays. We are a community of people doing life together. Here are some ways to get connected with what’s going on:

  • Visit the Connect Desk on a Sunday morning or fill out a virtual Connect Card. Our Welcome Team would love to help you find the best place to start.
  • Join a Community Group. These are groups that meet in people’s homes throughout the week to talk about the sermon, study the Bible, hang out and pray.
  • Join a Serve Team. These are volunteer teams that help make TriCity Church function (especially on Sundays). You’ll get to use your gifts and get to know some people too.
  • Check out Upcoming Events.

We have full kids classes from birth to Grade 5 during our 8:30am & 10:00am gatherings.

We have Youth Nights every Tuesday for Grades 6-12.

Check our Kids, Kid Club, and Youth pages for more information.
