This year at Retreat, we’ll spend the weekend talking about how Jesus gives us confidence. The world tells us to have confidence in ourselves. We should build our lives around what we’re good at, what we can accomplish, and what will make us happy. But Scripture tells us that our confidence comes through Jesus alone. 2 Corinthians 3 says that our confidence in life comes by way of Jesus’ Spirit who makes us ambassadors of the good news of the gospel. We’ll look at how Jesus gives us confidence at school, on the sports field, in the dance studio, at home, on your phone, when taking a test, or hanging out with friends. What does it look like for us to have confidence in who Jesus is and who He’s made us to? Whether you’ve been in church all your life, or don’t really know what this whole “Jesus” thing is about, Youth Retreat is for you! Join us as we think about what it means for us to have confidence in Jesus!
